Kinguin defeated their Polish brethren from AGO 2-0 in the DreamHack Open Montreal semis to advance to the grand final (16-4 on Dust2 and 16-8 on Train). The best-of-three semi-final kicked off on Dust2 with the CT-sided Kinguin picking up the first three rounds. Even though AGO were able to hit back in the first weapon round, Kinguin returned the favor in the following one to lead 4-1. Kinguin didn't let AGO string together more than two rounds and won the half 11-4. Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas & co. then picked up a 3vs5 victory in the second pistol and went on to win the map 16-4. ![]() The T-sided Kinguin had a 5-1 start on Train but AGO secured six in a row to lead 7-5. Karol "rallen" Rodowicz's team reclaimed the lead by taking the last three rounds of the half which they finished 8-7 ahead. Kinguin picked up seven rounds to open up the second half, earning eight match points. They were able to end the match two rounds later, winning the map 16-8 and the series 2-0.
