Astralis are through to the Group A winners' match after defeating Cloud9 16-3 on Inferno. The first match of the day was played on Inferno, with Astralis getting off to a swift 4-0 lead after winning their Terrorist side pistol. Cloud9, who are fielding Soham "valens" Chowdhury instead of Maikil "Golden" Selim in Texas, responded with their first successful round, but their opponents were far too hot for them to handle. ![]() It was only in the eleventh round that Cloud9 managed to get back on the board, 2-9, but they could not follow up on it. From there, Astralis kept stringing rounds together to pick up a 13-2 lead by half-time. Nicolai "device" Reedtz opened up the action with a triple-kill in the second half, and, from that moment, Astralis only lost a single additional round before finishing off the map at 16-3.
